Do I need API keys or a GPU to start?
No. On the Free tier you connect to StudioUI's hosted compute with a one-time code and pay per generation in credits. API keys and self-hosting are Pro features.
How do credits work?
Credits are prepaid and start at a tenth of a cent each ($0.001). Each generation costs a set number of credits depending on the model. You can resell credits to your own members at whatever price you choose and keep the margin.
What does Pro unlock?
Pro ($149/yr) lets you bring your own API keys from any provider (OpenAI, FLUX/BFL, fal.ai, Groq, Mistral and more) and connect your own ComfyUI and LM Studio — with no per-generation fees and access to the full model catalog.
Is it really just a WordPress plugin?
Yes. Install it on any self-hosted WordPress site, activate, and a studio page is created automatically. Everything lives on your site — you own the data and the audience.
Is there a content policy?
StudioUI is a general-purpose creative tool. Hosted compute is moderated and kept SFW. On Pro self-hosted setups you run your own models and set your own moderation under our Acceptable Use Policy. Strictly 18+; CSAM is never permitted on any tier.
