Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the StudioUI service and any site that connects to our hosted gateway. It forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. By using the service you agree to this AUP.

1. You must be 18+

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use this service. If you connect a site to our hosted gateway, you are responsible for ensuring that your own end-users also meet this age requirement and that your site's terms reflect it.

2. Absolutely prohibited on every tier

The following are prohibited on all tiers — hosted, Pro bring-your-own-key (BYO), and self-host — with no exception. You may not use the service, your own connected keys, or your own self-hosted infrastructure reached through our software to generate, request, upload, store, or distribute:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexual or suggestive content depicting, or appearing to depict, a minor — including "ageplay," "loli/shota," de-aged or age-ambiguous depictions, and any sexualisation of a person who is or appears to be under 18. This is illegal everywhere we operate, is reported to law enforcement and (where applicable) to NCMEC, and results in immediate, permanent termination and forfeiture of any credit balance.
• Non-consensual sexual content, including content sexualising a real, identifiable person without their consent, and "deepfake" sexual or intimate imagery of real individuals.
• Content that depicts, promotes, incites, or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, human trafficking, the sexual exploitation of any person, or serious real-world violence.
• Content created to defraud, impersonate, defame, harass, or stalk; to produce malware; or to violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
• Anything that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, in the jurisdiction of your end-users, or in New South Wales / Australia where the Operator is based.

These prohibitions are absolute and apply regardless of which tier, model, or provider you use, and regardless of whether content moderation technically intercepted the request.

3. Hosted service is moderated and SFW; uncensored generation is self-host only

StudioUI offers different paths, and the rules differ by path:

• Hosted compute (Free hosted credits and purchased credit packs): generation runs on the Operator's infrastructure and is subject to automated and manual content moderation. The hosted service is intended for safe-for-work, general-purpose use. We may filter, refuse, throttle, or remove any request or output at our discretion and without notice. Adult, explicit, or "uncensored" generation is not a feature of the hosted service, and attempts to bypass hosted moderation are a breach of this AUP.
• Pro BYO and self-host: where you run generation on your own API keys and/or your own self-hosted ComfyUI / LM Studio infrastructure, you control your own model and moderation settings. Lawful adult content depicting only consenting adults may be generated on your own infrastructure where it is legal for you to do so. In that case you are the responsible party: the content is produced on systems you control, under your own provider agreements, and you bear sole responsibility and liability for it.

In all cases, Section 2 applies absolutely. "Self-host" or "BYO" is never a licence to generate illegal content; it only changes who operates the infrastructure, not what the law permits.

4. Provider terms pass through

Generation requests are processed by third-party AI providers, and each provider has its own terms of service and acceptable-use rules. You must comply with the terms of every provider whose model you use — both on the hosted path and, especially, on the Pro/BYO path where you supply your own keys. Some providers prohibit certain content or resale outright; using a provider through StudioUI does not exempt you from that provider's rules, and a breach of a provider's terms is also a breach of this AUP.

5. No abuse of the gateway, credits, or service

You may not:

• Attempt to bypass, disable, or evade content moderation, rate limits, usage metering, billing, or the connect-code / gateway-token system.
• Share, resell, sublicense, or proxy your hosted gateway access or credits except as expressly permitted by your plan, or use credits obtained through fraud, chargeback abuse, or exploitation of a bug.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract other users' generations, prompts, or account data.
• Use automation, scripts, or load that degrades the service for other users, or probe, scan, or attack the infrastructure.

6. Enforcement

We may suspend or permanently terminate access, withhold or refuse service, throttle usage, and remove content — with or without notice — for any actual or suspected violation. Credit balances tied to accounts terminated for a material breach may be forfeited. Illegal content is reported to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC where applicable, and we may preserve and disclose records as required by law.

7. Your responsibility and indemnity

You are responsible for everything generated under your account, credits, or gateway token, including the conduct of your own end-users on any site you connect, and for all content you generate on your own keys or self-hosted infrastructure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator against any claim, loss, or liability arising from your use of the service or breach of this AUP.

8. No warranty

The service is provided "as is," without warranty. AI output may be inaccurate, offensive, or unexpected; you are responsible for reviewing it before use. Nothing in this AUP limits any non-excludable rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes
