How a GIF is generated, step by step

A user opens the studio page on your site and switches the composer to the GIF studio.
They write a prompt describing the subject and the motion (motion matters far more for GIFs than for still images — “a cat slowly tilting its head” animates better than “a cat”).
They press generate. The job is queued and sent to the animation backend.
The backend renders the frames and assembles a looping clip, then writes the finished file into your media library.
The result appears in the in-page gallery, ready to download, reuse or post.

What it costs

FAQ

Is the output a real .gif file?

The GIF studio produces a short, loopable animation saved to your media library in a web-friendly format. Modern sites often serve animated loops as compact video for performance, but it behaves like a GIF: autoplay, no sound, seamless loop, drop-in anywhere.

How long are the animations?

They are intentionally short loops — the length and frame count that read as a GIF rather than a full video clip. If you need a longer narrative clip with a beginning and end, use the video studio (450 credits) instead.

Can my members make their own GIFs, or just me?

Either. The studio is a page on your site, so whoever you grant access to — logged-in members, a specific role, or the public on a freemium page — can generate. You control access through normal WordPress permissions and decide who pays in credits.

Do I need a GPU or any API keys to start?
